aLive replaces Jim at WCS Season 2 Finals

19.08.2013
The WCS Season 2 Finals at gamescom will have to cope without Jin 'Jim' Hui Cao.

One week ago he qualified by placing fifth at the WCS America League Finals in Santa Monica and would have been the sole Chinese representative. Unfortunately, the Chinese Protoss player did not receive a visa in time for this week's tournament.

Han 'aLive' Lee Seok from Evil Geniuses is going to take Jim's spot in group D of WCS Season 2 Finals at gamescom. The South-Korean Terran lost to Jim in the final 5th place decider match at WCS America's League Finals and was the first in line to replace Jim.

Statement by Invictus Gaming:
This is sad that eventually, Jim is not able to attend WCS Season 2 final in Cologne, Germany due to visa issues, the spot will be given to Alive. Thank Blizzard, Netease and ESL for their assistance, thank everyone for the support. Sorry for not being able to show great games in the highest level tournament in the world.
